We raise commercial feeder kids and show wethers.  We maintain a commercial herd of 400 nannies and a show herd of 150 nannies.  We started out about 13 years ago with Boer Cross bucks on Spanish nannies and quickly moved into full blood billy’s on high percentage boer does.  We have used genetics from Mikey Vick, Powell Holman, Don Smith, and other top goat producers.   We selectively keep the top doe kids as replacements. We select our goats based on length of body, amount of muscle and their ability to handle range conditions throughout the year.  We try to produce a kid that will reach 65pounds at 7 months of age with little supplementation.

We have recently upgrade our show bloodlines.  This year we bought 6 nanny kids and a buck from Glynn Hutto www.huttolivestock.com The Billy is out of Rolex.  We also have about 40 head of nannies from Jerry Hudson www.championgoats.com at Sequin,TX.   We look forward to our show prospects from next year.

We sale some our top females each year in October.   We have about 100 really nice nannies available this year.  We are asking $150 per head.  We will put a Show billy with them On Oct 31st.  After that we will change the price to $200.00 per head.  Our group last year went to Waterford California.  Everyone that has had our nannies have been pleased with them.
